Scan a card
Camera off
Use a dark, matte surface and even light. Fill the frame with the card.
Check the lines
Drag the white lines to the card edge and the green lines to where the border ends. Pinch to zoom.
Your estimate
Centering is how evenly the border sits around the picture. 50/50 is perfect. 60/40 means one side shows 60% of the border and the other 40%.
Subgrades
Centering is measured from your photo. Corners and edges are scored from whitening in the photo, so check them against the real card. Surface needs your eyes under angled light.
"Top grade" means PSA 10, Beckett 9.5, CGC 10, SGC 10 or TAG 10. Leave "Grade 9" or "8 or lower" blank to use the raw price. The same prices are used for every company, and PSA slabs often sell for more, so raise the prices when you check PSA. Grading fees come from Settings.
Estimates only. Slabbed is not affiliated with PSA, Beckett, CGC, SGC or TAG, and a camera cannot see everything a grader can.

Centering standards
The worst side of the card, front and back, that each grade allows. 55/45 means one side shows 55% of the border and the other 45%.
Scanning tips
- Dark, matte surface. Glossy tables and bright light add false whitening.
- Hold the phone parallel to the card. If the shot is off-angle, drag the card corners into place after you capture it.
- Turn off glare on the border. Foil and holo borders confuse edge detection.
- Pokémon e-Reader cards have a wider left and bottom border on purpose. Judge the top and right borders for those.
